Must have: power suit
This weekend I was watching the X-Factor as you do, but instead of focusing on the singing ( though it was really good) my eyes were glued to Louisa's tuxedo suit, it was the stuff of angels! They don't have any picture up yet aaaargh!!! But I will put one up as soon as I can, in the mean-time you'll just have to deal with beautiful celebrities, the horror!
I have never owned a suit, not one that looked actually good anyway (I always thought they looked better on very slim women) but I have been converted. It is no secret that power suits are the much praised staple of bloggers worldwide, they can be relaxed or dressy and clearly Christmas is the perfect time for me to invest!

If you are straight up and down or very slim (live most of the women above) a fitted suit is your best friend. It is both classy and sexy, office appropriate with a shirt and more
playful with a sheer top of bralet underneath. If you want to be ultra-chic though, go sans shirt

For petite girls, vertical stripes are your best friend. They create legs for days, in fact go the extra mile by making them floor skimming. To suit a small body, again keep it fitted and on the legs and if choosing to go for a boyfriends blazer, pair it with something feminine.
To make it less overwhelming, sling your jacket over your shoulders for a more relaxed look.
