March mood

Hey y'all, it's been a long while and in the meantime it seems like winter's almost gone save a few chilly mornings. Anyone who's read some of my other posts is probably breathing a huge sigh of relief because I've been blabbering on about the arrival of spring for god knows how long. I've got a lot planned for March, and 1940s murder mystery party, seminars at London college of fashion along with work and watching all of Boardwalk Empire as quickly as humanly possible. I thought I'd share some favourites for the coming month.

1. Ophelia- The Lumineers.

I'm still dying inside about the fact that I was too late to get any tickets to their single concert in London. What are you doing, I mean one performance, really??!! Basically they are the best band ever so listen up.

2.Embroidered everything (jackets mainly)

The epitome of elegance and style in my humble opinion.

3. Flatform sandals

The most useful comfortable summer shoe is this my friends, so I'd get some if I were you.

4. Socks and shoes

In case you haven't noticed, shoes are kind of my thang so obviously I've snapped up this trend having bought 3 pairs of statement socks in preparation (sheer, glittery and tartan if you must know). Now I just need to buy some more heels, any excuse really!

5. Velvet

I've just bought an evening gown that you look amazing with a red velvet choker. Since going on the hunt to find one I've become somewhat obsessed with velvet, especially if it's vintage.
